In order to fully comprehend the scope of our Duval County Transmission and Auto Care success, it is important understand how formally Clay County Transmission and Auto Care began.
Established in 1988 by John J. and Michelle D. Placzkowski, while John was employed at a shop that cared more about the almighty dollar than about the customer or the employee. John and Michelle decided to branch out on their own and began Clay County Transmission in a small one bay shop. One lift, a few other pieces of equipment, some tools and a dream. Oh yeah, and a very sharp pencil. The goal was and still is to provide the customer with service before, during and after the sale. Personal service at a fair price.
On 1 July 2017 Anthony & Vivian Placzkowski purchased the business.
